The German furniture designer Joachim Nees created this chair according to the well-known concept of the "swing frame“ featuring a magnificent and dynamic zigzag curve. Thanks to the sophisticated design it is possible to sit upright in an ergonomically correct position. Moving or leaning back at a more relaxed angle will make the chair rock slightly while still supporting the body. The seating comfort is enhanced by the relatively high back and the sophisticated design of the upholstery. The backbone of the chair is a metal inside frame that has been fashioned into shape with various moulded and soft foams and skilfully upholstered by highly qualified craftsmen at Rolf Benz. The visible U-shaped metal foot is matt chrome-plated, providing a firm base for the chair. The chair looks particularly elegant when upholstered in leather.
