Rolf Benz 322 is one of the company's most successful chair and sofa ranges. More than 40,000 of these sofas have been sold over the past 15 years. Its pared-down design by Anita Schmidt, a designer who made a significant contribution to Rolf Benz design during the 1980s and 1990s, remains attractive to this day. Inviting, gently curving radii, balanced proportions and strikingly inclined cast aluminum legs lend the chair a modern grace in spite of its bulk – unusual but nevertheless calm – typically Rolf Benz.
